  • Cintia Orlandi is Musician and journalist. She has experience of 20 years as drummer and music teacher. She works with keyboards and software of music for more than 10 years. 

  • She has taught Classes and workshops for individuals for Drums, Keyboards and music software.

  • She has experience in Preparation of arrangements, soundtracks and  studio recording.

Awards received: 

  • Project Honored by Women in G Major by the Casa de Cultura de Santo Amaro, where she presented her own compositions for the first time to the public and released her 1st CD instrumental.
  • We have our first recipient of the Axis Achievement Award and Recognition of Excellence in Music and Inspiration. Cintia Orlandi is a long time educator and professional musician in São Paulo, Brazil. She has been teaching music for over 20 years and her work includes composition, transposing and arrangement but her greatest achievement is as teacher, mentor and guidance counselor to the youth. Cintia was featured in the May, 2008 Modern Drummer Brazil Magazine Women Drummers of Brazil and she has just completed two books (Brazilian Rhythms and Double Bass Drum Development for Students) Cintia was over whelmed with this award and sends a big Thank You to Karen, Charles and Darrell for this honor. I miss you all!

          Current work:

  • Drummer for Denner Datti, singer and composer.
  • Drums of all of the National Contemporary Instrumental guitarrist Tony   Babalu (Made in Brazil), which launched his 1st CD in 2007.  
  • Presentations as percussionist in weddings, events and parties in Sanctus Dominum, Ione Costa Choir and Prelude Orchestra and Choir, among others.
  • Volunteer for school AAEB (Association of Friends of the Handicapped of Brooklin) as a teacher of Music for handicapped children.

           Musical Training:

  • She had taken Lessons for drums with renowned teachers as Duda Neves, Tico Delisa, Flavio Pimenta (Boys of Morumbi), Albino Infantozzi and Anthony King.
  • She had taken Lessons for keyboard, organ and the course of the Yamaha Clavinova in Opusmusicmania (8 years from 1989)
  • Classical Percussion with Elizabeth Del Grande in the ULM (Tom Jobim University ) in 1991.
  • Course arrangement for brass group and strings, with Professor Rael Gimenes. (Professor of the University of Maringá)
  • Courses sequencing and composition at Playmusic.
  • Lessons as a Conductor in ULM, with Professor and Conductor Roberto Farias.

          Previous work:

  • Classes in schools Drums School, Royal Academy of Music, Opusmusicmania (1989 to 2008) and AquiJazz (Sao Paulo).
  • Developed, and for three years (2001 to 2003), taught the course of Confection of scores by computer through programs  Encore, Finale at the Tom Jobim University.

  • Theater for Children Group Celêlê Relálá as singer and keyboard player (this group was nominated for the award Sharp in 1995) and the play Cabaret, directed by Jorge Takla (today, the April Group Theater) in 1990, in which served in the orchestra for stage governed by Conductor Guga Petri (Youth Orchestra of Sao Paulo).
 
           Musical Bands and other :
  •  Sociedade Harmonica Rock Band (2005 to 2006) and, earlier, QCDance band (music of the 70s and 80s), and other band of country called Hurricane Country Music.Jaz INfluence Jazz,funk, Bossa Nova and Group Cor de Rosa, which recorded by the Top Tape and attended the Festival of Festivals by Rede Globo and Shell in 1985.
  • She coordinated and arranged for Project Music Workshop of the Orchestra of the Casa de Cultura de Santo Amaro By Secretaria of Culture of Sao Paulo in 2004.
  • She worked for the publishers Brothers Vitale, making MIDIs of old songs, using arrangements by herself and re-recording.
  • She had research  Brazilian rhythms, producing teaching materials on the percussion in Brazilian music, design training of the drums of Samba Schools, and its implementation into Brazilian music inside Casas de Cultura in Sao Paulo.
  • She taught drums in the Céu Meninos in Ipiranga
  • She wrote an article for Modern Drummer Brazil in 2008 (June issue).
